FALL 2024 - PRESENT
OVERVIEW
During the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 OSU academic years, I worked as the Graphic Designer for the Centro Cultural César Chávez. In this position, I created multiple posters promoting events organized by student staff, as well as designing the 2025-2026 shirt and a new logo for the center.
EVENT POSTER WORK
These posters were made to promote student-led events throughout the OSU Corvallis campus. These posters were often made in different formats to promote online and in physical locations.

25-26 SHIRT
For this project, I illustrated and designed the official shirt for the Centro Cultural César Chávez 2025-2026 school year. I chose to represent the center by adding nods to its history and the objects that are around the center. I decided on the color scheme and the medium of the printing because I initially made the design through screenprinting. The shirts were then produced with just the back and a staff exclusive front design with the logo. They were handed out to the community during our welcome event.
CENTRO LOGO
During my first year as the Graphic Designer, I noticed that my staff wasn't very interested in the current logo, since the illustration was outdated and didn't align with our interests. During May 2025, we visited the archival Centro items at OSU's library and I noticed an old logo that I liked. Using that as my base, I added secondary lines, updated the font for the lettering and made 3 versions. A solid color version, a 2-tone version with the center's dominant colors, and a bounding shape version, used for the center's Instagram profile picture.
